Corrie has been hunting for pretty much her whole life. She is from Bessemer City, North Carolina and while she loves many outdoor pursuits her favorite is to hunt whitetail deer and turkey. Even though buck fever gets a hold of her sometimes she still manages to get one down. Corrie shot her first turkey when she was 8 and her first buck when she was 11 years old. Aside of hunting, Corrie likes to shoot skeet and is a team member for the Gaston Young Guns. If it was possible, she would be in the deer stand or on the skeet field every day. While hunting, and shooting she sees more and more of God’s creation through nature. She finds it amazing that God can create such a masterpiece that most people miss. Psalm 19:1 says, “The Heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
